Woman Charged in Fatal 2012 Windsor Crash

    Police said she was intoxicated and caused a crash that killed another woman.

    State police have arrested a Hartford woman in connection with a crash that killed another woman on Interstate 91 in Windsor last November.

    Shamonique Narlease Hondasha Harvey, 21, of Hartford, was killed in the crash and state police have charged Shayna McGarrah, 25, of Martin Street in Hartford, with second-degree manslaughter and additional charges.

    According to the charges filed, McGarrah is accused of driving under the influence and speeding when the crash happened just before 3 a.m. on the Saturday, November 17.

    McGarrah turned herself in at 12:45 p.m. today.
