Woman Charged in Sex Assault Involving Dog

Police also arrested a 16-year-old girl in connection with the attack.

Waterbury Police have arrested a 21-year-old woman and a 16-year-old girl in connection with a sexual assault on an underage girl.

Linda Boles was arrested on Monday, according to Waterbury Police Capt. Christopher Corbett.

The alleged sexual assault happened outside in the area of Wood and Oak Streets and involved a dog, Corbett said. He would not go into detail about the details of the attack, but said that others, including at least one man, were involved in the sex assault. Police may make additional arrests in the case.

Boles was charged with conspiracy to commit aggravated first-degree sexual assault, accessory to aggravated first degree sexual assault, two counts of risk of injury to a minor, and cruelty to animals.

She is being held on $95,000 bond and is due back in court Dec. 28.

The identity of the 16-year-old girl arrested, and the charges against her were not made public because of her age.
