Hartford police are searching for a woman who disappeared after being released from the hospital.
Latifah Veal, 19, of Hartford, was released from Hartford Hospital Saturday after receiving psychiatric treatment, according to Hartford police. She was sent off in a medical taxi, but never made it home, police said.
Veal is described as being 5' 8", weighing 187 lbs. She has brown hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a blue corduroy jacket, blue jeans and a brown hat with a dragon.
She is known to hang out in the New Britain area, according to police.
