Police are searching for the man who grabbed a woman while she was making an ATM withdrawal outside a Bank of America in Branford and demanded money.
According to police, Michael Jensen, 48, approached the 37-year-old victim from behind while she was taking out money from the Bank of America ATM at 1081 West Main Street in Branford just after 2:30 p.m. Friday.
Jensen ordered the woman to hand over her cash, but she hadn't taken any money out yet, so he drove off in a gray 2000 Honda Accord with Connecticut license plates reading 145-7CU, according to police.
Police said the woman was not hurt and Jensen did not appear to have a weapon.
Jensen will be charged with attempted robbery and unlawful restraint.
