Woman Hits Fox, Fox Bites Back
A woman went to help a fox like this after hitting it with her car. The fox struck back. And now may be in this exact position.
A pregnant woman was probably just trying to be a good Samaritan after hitting a fox with her car. Instead, that idea sorta bit her in the behind. She ended up a victim of a fox bite.
The woman, who has not been identified, was driving on Interstate 91 in Middletown when the unfortunate collision occurred.
After hitting the fox, she stopped and went to check on the wounded creature when it bit her, police said.
The woman was taken to Middlesex Hospital for treatment, and hopefully will be fine. We're told by authorities that she is pregnant.
The fox is now part of the animal afterlife.
A state trooper who arrived moments after the biting, shot and killed the injured fox and its body will be tested for rabies, according to state police Lt. J. Paul Vance said.
