Woman Killed in Mansfield Crash

    A 30-year-old Mansfield woman was killed in a crash in Mansfield on Sunday night.

    Somer Payne, 30, was driving south on Route 32 near North Eagleville Road at 8:44 p.m. when she went off the right side of the road and down the embankment,  according to state police.

    Payne’s 2004 Lexus hit several trees and stopped when the roof hit a tree, according to state police.

    Payne, who was the only person in the car, was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials said she died of injuries sustained in the crash.

    Police are investigating.
