Police are searching for the woman who robbed a Darien bank at gunpoint Tuesday afternoon.
According to police, a woman standing about 5 feet 3 inches tall, wearing a bright yellow hooded jacket entered the Chase Bank at 165 Noroton Avenue in Darien around 4 p.m. Tuesday, took out a gun and demanded money.
She put an undisclosed amount of cash into a blue shopping bag and left.
Police haven't said whether they believe the woman is linked to a series of other bank robberies in Connecticut.
