A Hartford woman with an extensive criminal history is accused of slashing a former coworker in the face at a pub in downtown Hartford over the weekend.
Stacia Moore, 28, was charged with first-degree assault and breach of peace, according to Hartford Police.
The Hartford Courant reports that Moore is accused of slashing a former coworker’s face with a martini glass at Tavern Downtown on Sunday night and causing a 10-inch long cut that required more than 20 stitches.
Police responded to the at 201 Ann Uccello Street at 7:30 p.m. because two women were arguing and injury is so severe that the victim will need plastic surgery, Sgt. Dennis O’Connor told the Courant.
Bond for Moore was set at $250,000.
She has a police history that includes 11 previous arrests, according to Hartford police.
Moore spent six months in prison for a second-degree threatening conviction in 2010, according to court records.
In 2011, she was sentenced to one year in jail for a third-degree assault conviction.
She also has previous arrests for criminal impersonation, probation violation and interfering with an arrest.
