Yale Students Attacked by Dog on Campus

Two Yale graduate students are recovering from their injuries tonight after they tried to help an injured dog that attacked them.

According to Yale University, the dog was hurt after it was struck by a car near campus on City Street Saturday afternoon.

The  injured dog was brought onto campus when it bit two students outside the Yale Divinity School.

Animal Control officers captured the dog, but it later died from its injuries.

Both students were treated for minor injuries at Yale-New Haven hospital.

Yale University police are investigating.
