One person has died and two are in surgery following a rollover crash in Bridgeport.

Two people have died and a third is in critical condition following a rollover crash in Bridgeport late Saturday night.

Police said 35-year-old Steven Mountjoy and 22-year-old Yasmin Pedroza were killed in the crash. Bryan Bruwor, 33, is in critical condition at Yale-New Haven Hospital and was in surgery after the accident. It's not clear who was driving the car.

The crash happened around 11 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Madison Avenue and Queen Street in Bridgeport. Police said the car lost control while passing another vehicle, went airborne, hit a snow bank and rolled over.

No other vehicles were involved. The cause of the crash is unknown, but police said speed may have been a factor.

Police said all three victims are Bridgeport residents.

    Authorities are investigating.
