Fire spread from a garage to a home in Southington Thursday morning and officials are investigating what caused it to start.
The fire started around 1 a.m. in a garage on Wonx Spring Road, damaging an RV.
The garage sustained the most damage, but the home did sustain smoke and water damage and the building department is assessing whether the residents can live in the home in its current condition, officials said.
No one was injured.
