Connecticut Groundhog Predicts Six More Weeks of Winter

Connecticut's own groundhog, Chuckles VIII, predicted six more weeks of winter Sunday morning at the Lutz Museum in Manchester.

Hundreds crowded around to learn the outcome of Chuckles' forecast. The groundhog saw her shadow and her handlers declared that winter is here to stay in Connecticut.

Chuckles has a good track record. She predicted a long winter last year just days before the February blizzard arrived.

Pennsylavania's Punxsutawney Phil also predicted six more weeks of winter this morning.
