State police said a person drowned in Alexander Lake in the Dayville section of Killingly Tuesday morning.
Troopers responded to the lake near Sawmill Road just after 11:30 a.m.
The victim, identified as Ray Harris III, of Pomfret, was located and prounounced dead at the scene, police said.
