Watch: Eagle Makes World-Record Flight

An eagle set a world record on Saturday when it made a stunning dive from the tallest building in the world — a feat that was captured on video, thanks to a camera the eagle was wearing on its back, NBC News reported. The white-tailed eagle, named Darshan, took flight from the top of Dubai's Burj Khalifa and glided 2,722 feed down to falconer Jacques-Olivier Travers, marking the highest-ever recorded bird flight from a man-made structure. Freedom Conservation organized the eagle's record-breaking flight to encourage conservation efforts for endangered birds of prey, and has recorded similar feathered feats from the Eiffel Tower and St. Paul's Cathedral.
