Dunkin' Donuts Glass Tumblers Recalled Due to Laceration and Burn Hazards

Dunkin' Donuts has recalled about 8,300 units of its 16-ounce glass tumblers because the glass tumblers can break, posing laceration and burn hazards.

There have been 19 reports of the tumblers cracking or breaking, but no injuries have been reported.

Sold in three styles, the tumblers are approximately 8 inches tall and 3 inches in diameter. The first style has "BUT FIRST, DUNKIN" written in white font on the inside layer of the glass, a clear lid, and pink plastic which connects the lid to the base of the tumbler. The second style also has "BUT FIRST, DUNKIN" written in white font on the inside layer of the glass, a clear lid, and orange plastic which connects the lid to the base of the tumbler. The third style has a black and gray plaid pattern on the inside layer of the glass, a black silicone grip with embossed letters "DD" and a black lid.

Consumers are advised to immediately stop using the recalled products and return them to Dunkin' Donuts for a full refund.

The glass tumblers were sold in Dunkin' Donuts stores from September 2016 through November 2016. They were imported by Moderne Glass in Aliquippa, Pa., and distributed by Dunkin' Brands, Inc., in Canton, Mass.
