Police Catch Philadelphia Family Sneaking into Theme Park

Police say a Philadelphia woman and nine members of her family tried taking a theme park for a ride by running into the park without paying for tickets.

The Morning Call of Allentown reports that 26-year-old Markeisha Bostic was charged with theft by deception after Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom officials caught up with the family and alerted police.

Police say Bostic and her relatives were escorted into the park by employees after saying their tickets were being held inside by another group. After they were through the gate, police say, all 10 ran off to avoid having to pay almost $300 for tickets.

Police say Bostic admitted she had no intention of paying.

The Associated Press sought comment on the charges from Bostic, but could not verify whether he had a listed telephone number or an attorney.
