Police forensic officers work in Russell Square in London early on August 4, 2016, after a woman in her 60s was killed during a knife attack. The woman was killed and five people injured in a knife attack in central London late on August 3 which police said they are investigating for possible terrorist links.

Police in London have a man in custody after he went on a rampage Wednesday night with a knife — killing a woman and injuring as many as six others, NBC News reported.

The suspect was described as a 19-year-old man who was under police guard in a hospital. They are calling the incident a possible terrorist attack.

"Terrorism is one possibility being explored at this stage," police said, adding that extra officers remain in the area as a precaution.

The Metropolitan Police said the man was arrested about 10:40 p.m. (5:40 p.m. ET) after he was brought down with a Taser in Russell Square, near the British Museum.

Michigan police said a half-naked woman wandered into a Trenton home, played with the family's dog and started cooking. "Some random person is in my house trying to steal my dog," the homeowner's 10-year-old son, who was hiding under the bed holding a BB gun, told the 911 operator. (Published Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016)
