West Haven Mayoral Primary Too Close to Call: Report

Ed O’Brien secured a slim 12-vote lead over incumbent Mayor John Picard in West Haven.

The Democratic primary for mayor in West Haven is too close to call and it appears that there will be a recount this weekend, according to the New Haven Register.

Ed O’Brien secured a slim 12-vote lead over incumbent Mayor John Picard.

Unless Picard concedes, there will be a recount this weekend.

The winner of the Democratic primary will face Bart Chadderton, a Republican, in the general election in November.
