This photo says it all. Not only is the state divided on the teams, but families are also/
Many in Connecticut will wake up elated on Monday and many others will not want to talk about the Big Game.
This is a state that is divided and, family members, coworkers and friends were on different sides of this rivalry.
Sports bars were equally divided on Sunday night between Giants fans and Patriots fans, with Jets fans represented as well.
At different parts of the game, it looked like either team could win. Ultimately, the Giants did.
Earlier in the day, Durham was at the center of the rivalry.
The town is exactly halfway between the home field of the New England Patriots and the New York Giants, and that is where dozens of football fans met on the morning of the big game for a rally at Coginchaug High School.
The last time the teams met in the big game in 2008, the Giants upset the undefeated Patriots in one of the most exciting Super Bowls ever. It happened again this year.
The game is over, but the memories are not. We’re also asking for your photos. Send them to photos@nbcconnecticut.com.
