A few hours after blowing away the Seattle Storm, former UConn superstar and current leading Phoenix Mercury scorer Diana Taurasi was cited for drunken driving, the Associated Press reports.

Taurasi was speeding at about 2:30 a.m. Thursday, cops said, so an officer stopped her.

When that cop smelled booze of some sort, the officer gave her several field sobriety tests, Phoenix police spokesman Luis Samudio said.

Next, Taurasi was then driven to a mobile DUI van where she gave a blood sample, then was cited and released.

Authorities did not know her blood alcohol content.

Incidentally, Taurasi scored 22 points and blocked four shots in Wednesday night's 93-81 win over the Storm.

The Olympian is also the WNBA's leading fan vote-getter, ahead of the league's July 25 All-Star game, which is happening in Connecticut at Mohegan Sun.

She’s also a “Got Milk?” spokesperson and puts on a milk moustache to promote a healthy diet and lifestyle.
