WATCH: Anthony Rizzo Makes Incredible Circus Catch in Cubs 3-2 Win

Acrobat or baseball player? That’s the question many Chicago Cubs fans are asking following an amazing circus catch by Anthony Rizzo during the team's 3-2 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers Wednesday night.

In the sixth inning of the game, just a few minutes after the Cubs took a 2-1 lead, the first baseman turned in a spectacular defensive play, testing the limits of Wrigley Field.

With one out and a runner on first base, the Brewers’ Ryan Braun lifted popup into foul territory on the right side. Rizzo raced over, jumped up on the tarp positioned along the wall and then stepped onto the brick wall separating the stands from the field. He appeared to make the catch as he was falling into the stands and first base umpire Mark Carlson initially waved it off.

After Cubs manager Joe Maddon came out, the umpiring got together to discuss the play and then overturned the call, ruling Rizzo made the grab before falling into the stands. The runner on first, Jonathan Lucroy, then was awarded second because Rizzo went into the stands.

The catch was just one of many exciting moments seen in the nail-biting win Wednesday night.
