Youkilis to Become Part of Brady’s Family: Report

Two prominent Boston athletes will soon be brothers-in-law, the Boston Herald reports.
Friends of Red Sox first baseman Kevin Youkilis told Herald columnists that Youkilis is engaged to Patriots’ quarterback Tom Brady’s sister, Julie Brady.
Youkilis spent Super Bowl weekend in Indianapolis with Julie Brady and her family as the Patriots faced the Giants, the Herald reports.
Brady and Youkilis first met at Patriot Place in Foxboro, Massachusetts in 2011, at a post-game party following New England’s playoff loss to the New York Jets in the AFC Divisional round, friends said. Although Youkilis was previously married, the Herald reports that his 2008 marriage to Enza Sambatoro was never legal.
Neither Youkilis nor Brady has confirmed the engagement, but the Herald reports that Brady will move to Florida with her daughter when Youkilis reports for Spring Training in Fort Myers.
When asked about the date of the wedding, the Herald’s sources were unsure, but said that the couple would likely exchange vows on the West Coast rather than in Boston.
