Seven the Lucky Number for J-E-T-S

Jets fans may be more used to disappointment than just about any team’s followers in pro sports, but while there’s still 75% of the season left to play, this much is already certain: the Jets are a playoff-cali...

Things Are Different for Jets In London, But Fish Still Stink

Things Are Different for Jets In London, But Fish Still Stink

Is the air lighter in the U.K.? How else to explain Ryan Fitzpatrick’s 58-yard fling on the team’s first offensive play Sunday, or that at 33, the Amish rifle was suddenly running like Usain Bolt? OK, maybe...

Jets Too Good for Fish, in London or Anywhere

Jets Too Good for Fish, in London or Anywhere

The Dolphins have no business beating the Jets -- be it in London, New York, Miami or on Mars. If the Jets play smart, they’ll get the W. If they play like they did vs. Philly, all bets are off -- except in...

Marshall Gives Ball Away While Jets Give Game Away

Marshall Gives Ball Away While Jets Give Game Away

The Jets started the season like a whole new team. Against the Eagles, they played like the same old Jets. Indeed, the Jets’ ineptitude in all phases of the game made Philly look far better than they actually...

Down Is Up With Kelly, But Jets Still Better Than Philly

Only in the bizarro world that mad scientist Chip Kelly has created does it make sense that the Jets should fear the idea of Mark Sanchez getting in the game on Sunday. Kelly, Philly’s coach/default GM/yogi,...

Homeland Security Outlines Crackdown on Illegal Immigration

Homeland Security Outlines Crackdown on Illegal Immigration

The Department of Homeland Security on Tuesday outlined how it will implement President Donald Trump's planned crackdown on people coming into and living in the United States without documentation, NBC News reported. Secretary John Kelly released a pair of memos that end to the policy of releasing people caught at the border pending deportation hearings, the hiring of thousands more federal agents, having more judges and officers deal with asylum claims and speeding up removal proceedings for a greater number of people. The memos also recommend that authorities prosecute parents who pay smugglers to bring their children into the United States, though that decisions will ultimately be made by federal prosecutors. Kelly's memos are nearly identical to executive orders signed by Trump last month as part of his campaign promise to take a harder line on illegal immigration. The memos add detail on how the new priorities will be carried out by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, U.S. Customs and Border Protection and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
