A Chicago native astounded the Internet by quitting her job with a video of herself dancing to Kanye West's "Gone."
Marina Shifrin worked at Next Media Animation for almost two years creating news videos for the Taiwan-based company. She became frustrated with her boss' obsession with views over quality, and decided she wouldn't put up with it anymore. Before she left the office for the last time, she wanted to make a statement.
The result is a YouTube video with more than 5 million views. Shifrin dances through her work grievances and, after a minute and a half, happily announces her resignation.
Shifrin told The Huffington Post that she now plans to move back to the U.S. and find a job that encourages creativity.
Meanwhile, NMA Commercial Director Mark Simon is fielding questions on Gawker about Shifrin's stunt.
