  • the doctor Saturday, Nov 22 at 8:33 PM FLAG COMMENT GM has been touting this for quite a while, but it never gets much closer. Its overpriced at $40k, even after they bribed congress to pay a $7500 rebate for anyone buying an electric car that just coincidentally happens to have the size battery this one has. • Steveorevo Saturday, Nov 22 at 8:28 PM FLAG COMMENT This car has been touted each election year for the past 40 years. Its no better then it was the first time it was introduced. Here's an idea, let them fail and give the $25 billion to a US automaker that is serious like Telsa, or heavy trucks CWI and Sterling. They've already got their cars in production but need the cash to really do something rather then line their pockets.
  • craig Saturday, Nov 22 at 5:48 PM FLAG COMMENT Price Range: Pricing for the 2010 Chevrolet Volt has not been finalized. GM sources quote prices ranging from $30,000 to $47,000.
  • Craig Saturday, Nov 22 at 5:43 PM FLAG COMMENT 40 miles, that's it. Who is going to take a chance on something like this. 20 miles one way and then you've got to hope you don't get stuck in traffic? Ridiculous. I notice that there was no mention of the price in the article.
  • Jimmy Saturday, Nov 22 at 3:35 PM FLAG COMMENT I can't wait for this car to come out. I was thinking of buying one when they do. But with our so-called political leaders in CA wanting to raise the car tax I just might have to wait until sanity returns to CA. I could be waiting forever on that one.
