A loyal Rottweiller saved a little Russian boy.
A dog stood by a three-month old baby abandoned overnight in a Russian park by his drunken mom, a Russian news service reported.
The 22-year-old woman, identified as Olga, had taken her baby and Lada, her Rottweiller, along when she met friends to drink in a park in the southern city of Saratov. When the party was over, she went home and passed out, only to wake up the next morning and realize her baby was gone, according to RT.com.
"She was in panic," the woman's mother told Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper. "She was screaming that her son had been stolen."
Her father went to the park and found the dog huddled with the baby boy.
"The baby was found wet, hungry and in tears, but what's more important, safe and sound," a neighbor said.
