Boca Raton Women Pilfer 600 Panties: Cops

It was the latest in a string of panty raids

Two women allegedly stole about 600 pairs of panties from a Victoria’s Secret store in a Boca Raton mall on Friday, the South Florida Sun Sentinel reported.

Surveillance video at the store shows two women who appear to be in their 30s swiping an estimated $6,300 worth of underwear around 2:30 p.m. on March 9, Boca Raton police said.

The latest twist in a string of underwear thefts at two Palm Beach County malls came nine days after Boca Raton police arrested two Miami-Dade women involved in an elaborate bra stealing spree targeting Victoria's Secret stores across South Florida since October. Boca Raton police nabbed bra bandits Tysheka Pink and Katina Summerset on Feb. 29 after they allegedly stole about 100 bras from the Town Center store.

Police have not said whether they think Friday's panty raid is linked to others in Boca Raton and Boynton Beach.

The Victoria's Secret in nearby Boynton Beach has been hit 11 times, and the Boca location has been hit at least four times, the paper reported.
