Police are investigating after this gas station convenience store was robbed at fork-point (yes, that's right).

The armed robbery of a Connecticut gas station took an unusual turn early Sunday morning when the robber revealed his weapon – and it turned out to be a fork.

The robbery happened around 2:30 a.m. Sunday at the Mobil station at 330 Middle Street in Bristol. An employee told police the robber came in and threatened him with a fork, demanding money.

The suspect, a man, took an unknown amount of money and fled on foot.

He's described as a white male with a scruffy beard. Police said he was wearing a white hat with a green brim, along with a blue jacket, jeans and work boots.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Bristol police at 860-584-3011.
