Seriously? Robbing nuns?
It's not like burglars are nice people to begin with, but come on.
Someone broke into a convent Monday night and stole from a group of nuns, Hartford Police say.
The nuns at Sisters of Mercy on Girard Avenue were asleep when it appears someone came in through the window.
Gone are some of the nuns' personal items, a book bag and their 2008 Toyota Corolla. The burglar swiped the keys to that and took off with it, according to Sgt. Christine Mertes.
One of the nuns noticed the missing things just after 5:30 a.m. Tuesday and called police.
