Kayla James
Kayla James can be seen weekday mornings as part of the NBC Connecticut Today morning team.
She has been watching the roads across the state and helping viewers get to work on time since joining the station as the morning traffic reporter in October of 2011.
Kayla is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University. Prior to coming to the station she worked in radio splitting her time between Connecticut and Boston covering everything from traffic to news and local sports.
In her spare time, Kayla is an avid sports fan who also enjoys getting lost in a good book, keeping up on the latest breaking fashion news and getting outside to hit the trails for a hike whenever possible.
