Feast TV: BBQ Baby Back Ribs

Start with a Baby Back Rib (pork Loin Ribs) 1.75-2 pounds.

To create rub, combine the following in a bowl:

8 cups light brown sugar
1/2 cup Chili Powder
1/2 cup Paprika
1/2 cup Black Pepper
1/2 cup salt
1/2 cup granulated garlic
1/2 cup oregano

Apply rub to ribs.

Next, poke holes in the lid of a double decker disposable aluminum pan with a knife.  Pour your choice of a 16-ounce beer, usually a darker style beer like BBC or Ten Penny Ale for the steaming into the bottom portion of the pan.  Cover with the perforated lid and place ribs on top.  Cover with tin foil and place in the oven at 375 degrees for two hours.  When the ribs are finished in the oven, transfer to your outside grill for roughly ten minutes, coating with barbeque sauce as they sear. When ribs are carmelized you’re done!

You can create your own barbeque sauce by using the ingredients below.

4 cups ketchup
1/4 cup molasses
1/4 cup worcheshire
1/4 cup cider vinegar
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
salt and pepper to taste
Chopped fruit (1 lemon and orange) (peaches) (hot peppers) whatever you prefer

Mix together and use to coat baby back ribs on the grill.
