After a beautiful sunrise in eastern Connecticut (Check out this shot Steve from Eastford below) things took a gloomy turn with periods of rain, drizzle, and clouds.
The good news is the heaviest of the rain is gone and slowly we will see some drier air building in during the overnight. We will wake up to a cloudy sky on Friday but some breaks of sun are possible later in the day. High temperatures will be around 60 degrees in most towns.

A front will move in Friday evening and Saturday morning with some showers. Some of the rain will linger through mid-morning on Saturday but the sun will return by midday. Rainfall amounts should be on the light side and generally less than 1/4".
Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday look great with seasonable temperatures and a good deal of sunshine.
