Magic Bars with Chocolate Crust, Dried Cranberries and Almonds

1 1/2 Cups Oreo Cookie Pieces-ground in food processor until fine
3-4 Tbsp. Melted Butter-amount varies, see instructions
1 Cup Chocolate Chips-semi-sweet or white, or mix
1 1/4 Cup Dried Cranberries
1 Cup Slivered Almonds-chopped
1 Can Sweetened Condensed Milk

Preheat oven to 350°f.

Place the cookie pieces and peanuts in the bowl of a small food processor. Process until very finely ground. Transfer into a mixing bowl and add about ¾’s of the melted butter and mix by hand, checking to see if the mixture will hold together when squeezed. Add the remaining butter if necessary.

Spread out onto a parchment and greased ¼ sheet pan (13’ x 9”), pressing down. Place a piece of parchment on top and a second sheet pan, pressing down to firm up the crust. Remove the top sheet pan.

Combine the chocolate chips, dried cranberries, and almonds in a bowl, toss to combine. Sprinkle evenly over the crust and then evenly drizzle the condensed milk over the top. Bake 350°f for about 20 minutes or until the top is evenly golden and the milk mixture bubbles gently. Cool thoroughly, unmold and cut into desired size portions. Enjoy!
