Problems at Pratt & Whitney
State lawmakers held a hearing to scrutinize Pratt & Whitney's plan to possibly close a plant in Cheshire and also move some jobs away from East Hartford. The lawmakers are hoping to put pressure on the company, while also looking for ways the state can help keep those 1000 jobs here in Connecticut.
