With Father’s Day on final approach – hope you haven’t forgotten – you might be wondering how to spend quality time with your loved ones. Or, perhaps you haven’t figured out the right gift to give dad.

Well don’t worry! This year the New England Air Museum has a pretty cool Dad’s Day offer. Two words:  Open cockpit.

On Sunday, June 21, you won’t just get to see vintage aircrafts in person, you’ll be able to hop into the cockpits.  And then there are the flight simulators.

Inside the museum’s three big exhibit hangars you’ll find the renowned aircraft Vought Corsair of WWII, the North American F-100 Super Sabre, a DC-3 airliner, helicopters and more. If any of those things ring a bell, then this is for you.

You can expect to find aviation reference books and a broad assortment of aviation fiction books for sale, too, so you can get Pops an actual “thing” to take home to remember the day.

The event’s at the New England Air Museum on Sunday, June 21, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., rain or shine.  Tickets up to $10.
