Lines are long for the newest slot machines at Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun. They let you meet the Wizard and help you to relive a trip down the yellow brick road with Dorothy and her friends.

Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun have unveiled a “Wizard of Oz” inspired game.

In this tough economy, gamblers are enjoying that fact that these new slot machines take pennies.

Players can see, feel and hear the familiar fantasy through a multi-sensory interaction using BOSE 3-D audio and moveable seats, according to WMS Gaming. Players have a chance at the Flying Monkey Bonus or Road to the Emerald City Bonus.

If you don't plan to go to the casinos, you can still play. WMS also has a video game version of the Wizard of Oz.
WMS will introduce Jaws later this year, based on the movie.

In other casino news, slot revenues are up at Foxwoods for the first time since August. The casino says winnings for February totaled $58 million at Foxwoods and MGM Grand. That’s a 1 percent increase from a year ago. While at Mohegan Sun, the slots brought in just over $62 million in revenue in February, down $7 million from last year.
