M.J.'s Fans Gather Outside Childhood Home

Moshpix: Dozens of people streamed to Michael Jackson's boyhood home in Gary, Ind. Thursday after word broke that the pop superstar had passed. The house sits at 2300 Jackson Street, at the intersection of the honorary Jackson Family Blvd. Neighbors say Jackson's uncle had lived in the home until recently. Many had stories of seeing the Jackson kids around the neighborhood many years ago, and watching firsthand as the pride of Gary morphed into international superstars. They left mementos, told stories, laughed, cried and sang in remembrance of the man who put Gary on the map.
