Howie Mandel and NBC's "Deal or No Deal" are coming to Connecticut. And we know how you can TRY to be a contestant.

There really could be a pot of gold at the Irish Festival this weekend.

"Deal or No Deal" is moving into Connecticut and will hold a casting call at the Connecticut Irish Festival on Saturday, June 27, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in North Haven.

You just have to pay the admission, $8 in advance or $12 at the gate, and you could wind up meeting Howie and collecting $1 million from one of the models' suitcases.

You have to be energetic, charismatic, outgoing and able to think quickly on your feet. You must be at least 18 years and a legal United States resident. It will also help if you can make a decision, because when Howie asks, “deal or no deal,” you’re going to have to answer.

Find out more from the Connecticut Irish Festival Website.  Deal or no deal?

But wait -- there's another chance!  Saturday, July 11 at 4 p.m.  The casting folks will be at the Riverfest in Hartford right along the Connecticut River.

No hard questions to answer or stupid obstacles to jump through.  Just pick a number and stick to your guns to win big money.

There are a few requirements though: You must be 18 and a legal U.S. resident to get on the show.

Oh yeah, having some personality will increase your odds of getting on the show, too.

And you're welcome to give us a shout-out when you meet Howie.
