Joe Cocker will rock the Palace theater in Waterbury tonight
We're giving you a little music lesson tonight.
Rock legend Joe Cocker is at the Palace Theater in Waterbury tonight. Cocker has been writing hit songs since the '60s, including Beatles classic "With a Little Help from My Friends," and the quintessential wedding song, "You Are So Beautiful."
The show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale for $40, $60 and $80.
Then, you can follow the signs to Toad's Place in New Haven.
Hard rockers Tesla are performing tonight at 8 p.m. The California-based band formed in 1984 and has sold more than 16 million albums in that time. Last year, Tesla released its eighth studio album.
Tickets for tonight's show are $30.
And in Fairfield, one of the most popular bands of the '70s is taking over the spotlight.
The Doobie Brothers are performing at the Fairfield Theatre Company-The Klein. "Listen to the Music", "Black Water", "Jesus Is Just Alright" and "China Grove" are a few of the huge hits The Doobie Brothers recorded.
Over the course of their careers, the Doobies evolved from an Allman Brothers-esque boogie band to a soul band by the end of the decade (when Michael McDonald joined the group). The current incarnation of the Doobies still has two of the original members, Tom Johnston and Patrick Simmons.
The show starts at 8 p.m., and tickets will cost you anywhere from $57-$107 apiece.
