7/14: Food, Fun and the Force

Luke Skywalker and The One-Man Star Wars Trilogy render the Terrible Tuesdays defenseless tonight at Long Wharf Theatre.

Start off at Peppercorn’s Grill, in downtown Hartford for some foodie fun.

Chef Dino Cialfi and his family will host a seasonal cooking demonstration featuring a dinner of zucchini blossoms and garden risotto. Save room for dessert because tiramisu is on the menu! Cost is $35 per person. Reservations are recommended.

What’s better than dinner and a show?

Head to New Haven, where the Force is strong at the Long Wharf Theatre.

Check out The One-Man Star Wars Trilogy, written and Performed by Charles Ross. Blast through Star Wars: A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Take advantage of this three-for-one deal all for $24.

Not a fleet junkie?  How about some hoops?

Catch some WNBA action as the Connecticut Sun take on the Los Angeles Sparks at the Mohegan Sun Arena where it’s GO GREEN night. The first 4,000 fans in the door receive reusable earth-friendly bags. Tip-off is at 7:00pm, and tickets start at $10.

Happy Tuesday!
