10/18: Game Time & Indie Rock

GET YOUR GAME FACE ON: And head over to Coach's in Hartford for Monday Night Football. Watch the Tennessee Titans take on the Jacksonville Jaguars. Of course you'll be able to stuff your face and have a drink or two while watching the game, but if you watch at Coach's, you'll get an added bonus tonight. Radio host Sebastian and former Patriots star Tebucky Jones will be on the WTIC-AM News/Talk 1080 with their "Pregame Blitz" show from 6-8 p.m.

A PERFECT PAIR: For decades, Toad's Place in New Haven has been a spot to see some of the best musicians on their way towards stardom, and even some who have reached rock's stratosphere like the Rolling Stones, Blondie or Bob Dylan. Tonight, a duo named Jenny And Johnny take the stage. Jenny Lewis and Jonathan Rice have been playing together since 2006. They've been thrilling audiences around the world with their mix of classic-rock textures, and a new, edgier and darker sound. In fact, their show in New York sold out last night. So if you want a chance to see these indie-rockers, head to Toad's tonight. Doors open at 8 p.m. for a 9 p.m. show. Tickets are $18.
