Find your friends, grab a cold one, and hunker down for a little Monday Night Football.

LIAR LIAR:  Pump up the volume tonight in Hamden.  Hollywood Lies, a pop/rock/punk/alternative/indie band (how's that for descriptive?) from Boston is taking over at The Space.  The group will also play with City Lights, and Time and Distance.  7pm.

CRAFTY:  Hundreds of artists have been brought together for the the 41st Annual Celebration of American Crafts.  Guests to the Creative Arts Workshop in New Haven can see some of the best contemporary crafts around, from blown glass to jewelry, stoneware to toys, and much, much more.  You can even buy the goods, with much of the proceeds going to the community art school.  11-6pm.

ROCKING THE PIGSKIN:  Start your week by wrapping up the weekend.  Head to The Rock Cafe in Rocky Hill for a little Monday Night Football action.  The Saints are taking on the Falcons for a battle for southern domination.  There's plenty of beer specials at The Rock Monday night, and there's even free pizza at halftime.  Enjoy the game!
