EL DIA DE LOS SANTOS INOCENTES:  It's an evening of hot action at the Wadsworth in Hartford tonight.  Phoenix Art After Hours is presenting their Noche Calliente.  Guests can mingle and sip a cocktail (or two) as they enjoy an evening with a Latin twist.  Latin band GOZA will provide the soundtrack for the night and Rey Bermudez will teach you how to  salsa (and we don't mean dip).  Plus you can imbibe on a free cerveza and take part in giveaways from Telemundo.  The Sea Tea Improv troupe will also be on hand and there's a screening of "Washington Height."  It's only $5 to attend.  5pm-8pm.

WHAT'S THAT IN YOUR EYE?:  For every pop band that makes the rounds at clubs, theaters and arenas across this great land of ours, there's a band that's working to create the pop of the future.  Tonight at in Hamden, you can see one of those bands.  Featuring haunting vocals, lush guitars and climactic percussion, GLINT will perform at the Space.  The groundbreaking new electro-art act from the Big Apple will bring their muse and music to the stage.  Tickets to witness the dramatic ethereal electronic soundscape are just $10.  7pm.

ADVENTURES IN LITERATURE:  One of America's classic pieces of literature is getting a new life on stage starting tonight in Hartford.  The new stage adaptation of Mark Twain's "Tom Sawyer" is debuting tonight at Hartford Stage.  The production is being presented in association with Hartford's Big Read and events at the Mark Twain House & Museum, which also begins tonight (talk about a coincidence).  Click here for more info, including show-times and ticket info.
