HOW HIGH?:  It's been ten years since Method Man and Redman teamed up for the 1999 album "Blackout!"  Now, the dynamic rap duo is back with "Blackout!2," and they're taking their show back on the road.  Tonight, the stars of "How High" play Toad's Place in New Haven.  Tickets are $25.  9 PM.

MMMM... BEER:  For all you lovers of hops, yeast and all that beery goodness, tonight's your night.  The Hartford Better Beer Festival is at Ann Howard @ The Bond Ballroom.  Besides the 300 different international beers (which you can taste from your complementary sampler glass), there's also live jazz and plenty of food.  And don't get too overwhelmed by the hundreds of ales, lagers and stouts; guests get a comprehensive guide to get you through the night.  Tickets are $40 and a portion of the proceeds benefit the Hartford Jazz Society.  5:30 PM.

ALL'S FAIR:  Fair season is in full swing in Connecticut.  This weekend, the rides, food, entertainment and animals are at the North Haven Fair.  Starting tonight, you can experience the arts and crafts, pony rides and live music from the likes of Herman's Hermits, the Spectacles and Big Shot (a Billy Joel tribute band).  Tickets are only $9 for adults.  Click here for the fair's hours and details.
