Get ready for Parrot Heads to fill the streets of Uncasville. The most famous and richest beach bum in the free world is coming to Connecticut for a show at Mohegan Sun this fall.
Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band are coming to the casino for a Nov. 21 show and tickets go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m.
Apparently Jimmy was supposed to play here in October, but the show was canceled, according to postings on the Parrot Head Club of Connecticut site, but fear not – he’s back on the schedule.
Mohegan’s all about Jimmy, who recently opened his only Margaritaville restaurant in New England at the casino.
Who knows? Maybe he’ll make an appearance and you’ll be able to hear Cheeseburger in Paradise while enjoying a cheeseburger, or Coconut Shrimp, and a margarita in Uncasville, which could be a little like paradise if you hit the jackpot over at the casino.
