Kellie Pickler, Kenny Rogers Perform Durham Fair

The Durham Fair kicks off on Sept. 27 and country stars Kellie Pickler and Kenny Rogers are scheduled to take the main stage. 

Rogers is scheduled to perform Friday, Sept. 28. 

Pickler, who was propelled into stardom through American Idol, is scheduled to perform Saturday, Sept. 29.

The Durham Fair has been in held since 1916, and this year the tradition not only continues with live entertainment and games, but it also introduces a new ride for visitors: the Super Roller Coaster!  Measuring over 36 feet high, this is the first roller coaster to appear at a Connecticut Fair.

The fair goes through Sept. 30.
