Kid Cudi, Jack's Mannequin to Rock UConn Stage

The duo is unlikely, but Kid Cudi and Jack's Mannequin are going to be performing together at Gampel Pavillion at the University of Connecticut on Saturday, April 10.

Rap-artist Kid Cudi is fairly new to the music scene and released his first studio album, Man on the Moon: The End of Day last year.

The album is loaded with collaborations from the likes of Kanye West and Common and was also named Entertainment Weekly's Best Hip-Hop Album of 2009. Despite his newcomer status, Cudi has already made a name for himself in the mainstream scene with a couple of Grammy noms for sensational singles Day 'N' Nite and Make Her Say.

Contrary to Kid Cudi, rock-band Jack's Mannequin has been around for quite sometime. What began as a side project of 90s punk group, Something Corporate, in 2004 has evolved in to a band that has made it big in the music world.

Jack's Mannequin has been featured on episodes of TV show One Tree Hill and has performed at music festivals all over the country. Check out hit-singles such as The Mixed Tape, Dark Blue, and The Resolution.

Jack's Mannequin's emotional rock-ballads accompanied by Kid Cudi's carefree dance tracks are the perfect combination for an unforgettable concert. Tickets are still on-sale and can be purchased at the UConn Athletic Ticket Office for a cost of $30 for UConn students and $40 for non-students.
