Olympic Gymnasts Sprint into Connecticut Tonight

Olympic Champion Shawn Johnson Comes To Connecticut
Olympic Champs Nastia Liukin and Shawn Johnson will be in Connecticut Wednesday night showing off their skills.
They will be performing in Bridgeport, along with the Men and Women of Team-USA for the 2008 tour of Gymnastics Superstars. The show is a sports and music extravaganza featuring the gymnasts performing routines to music from The Disney Music Group.
Doug George, a reporter for the Chicago Tribune newspaper, wrote in a recent article, "When it comes to made-for-the-stage moments and in-the-spotlight entertainment appeal, few Olympic sports--few sports--can rival gymnastics."
There is no judging in the show, but the program has all the trappings of Olympic fanfare.
The performance will be held at Harbor Yard in Bridgeport and is scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m.
