This Weekend: Zorbing

It's a craze that is making many dizzy with delight, and now zorbing has come to Connecticut.

What is zorbing?

Participants are strapped inside a 12-foot plastic sphere and pushed down a ski slope, or other large hill.  The ride only lasts about 30 seconds, but it is a doozy.

At Woodbury Ski Area, there are some rules to zorbing. You must be at least 9-years-old, can't weigh more than 220 pounds and be in good health to zorb.

If zorbing isn't your thing, Woodbury Ski Area has also added summer tubing.  There are two slopes made of silicon turf, and a variety of tubes to allow you to tailor how fast or slow you want to go.
