So... who's here to see 2012?

To say Twilight's follow-up film "New Moon" has generated a lot of buzz is a bit of an understatement. Theaters across the state are gearing up to accommodate the flocks of fans that will surely be headed to the theaters this weekend before and after the official release date on the 20th. The options are broad, but we just happen to know where you can make the most of your evening and the celebration of Miss Bella and her love triangle with fur or fangs.

Bow Tie Cinemas in West Hartford's Blue Back Square will be premiering  the film on not one, not two... but three screens in the very regal boutique theater at midnight tonight. Arrive by 10:30 PM to join in on the madness with the 500 fans ready to raid the big screen.

The Regent 8 Theater in Norwalk will be showing the film for early risers on Sunday the 22nd (with an 8:30 AM check-in.) Tickets will be a mere $8 and "New Moon" t-shirts, featuring the film's release date will also be available for $15. Proceeds of the tickets will be donated to Kids First and can be picked up at the door.

New Milford residents will be able to catch an early screening at the Bank Street Theater for $9.50 tonight (11/19) but don't expect to be let in without a town ID or they might show some fangs of their own. Despite the red tape, it's for a good cause and $1 of (each ticket) will go towards the New Creative Playground.

Decided to wait it out until next weekend to catch the flick? No reason not to join in all the fun. Visit Barnes & Noble in North Haven tonight (11/19) at 7PM to join in on the New Moon Release Party. Dress in costume, enjoy vampire inspired treats, and test your Twilight knowledge in trivia and games.

Finally, for those of us who never caught the first film... the Regal Branford Stadium will be also showing the original flick at 9PM tonight, just in time to catch the first showing of the newest at midnight.
